SNDTTA Competition Div 5 Season 2021
SUNS E lost in the final hurdle.
This team has the best team spirit, trained and tried the hardest but lost in the final. They were the only SUNS Team that was not out of practise choosing to play at other venues when SUNS was closed. The team fought hard and manage to win all their preliminary and semi-final matches. They ended in top position after the preliminary without losing a single match.
In the final, they lost to a very young PCYC team whom they won by a narrow 5-4 margin previously. However, the youngsters were very much improved this time against our 'old-timers' and won handsomely. The team opted to stay together and to compete and enjoy another new season in 2022.

Hard struggles but good results June 11, 2021
The Division 5 team SUNS E are made of real fighters. They carved up many hard fought and close games and victorious in all of them. Imagine 5-4 victories in at least 4 or more matches.
Let us hope their luck holds for the next 3 matches and be crown Champions.

Friday 9/4/2021 VS. PCYC 5I Junior
The team was represented by Viyada, Varuna, Peter and Joanna who played her first match of the season. We did not have a good start, trailing 2-4. But we battled hard to draw 4-4. The match went to the 5th set of the last Doubles game and we emerged as a winner 5-4.
Tuesday 30/3/2021 VS. Nam Ho Paddlers
In their second match against a junior well trained, Nam Ho Table Tennis Academy team 'the Paddlers'. The match started with 6 Singles and scores were tied at 3-3. Varuna, Hoang, Peter and Viyada played and won all their 3 Doubles. So the team won the match by a margin of 6-3.
